The World Returns to Nottingham: 2026 World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup Set for March Showdown
The World’s best master’s indoor hockey players are coming back to the UK, as World Masters Hockey (WMH) proudly announces that Indoor Hockey UK (IHUK) will host the 2026 Masters Indoor Hockey World Cup, once again at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham from 26 March 2026 to 31 March 2026!
After the roaring success of the 2024 edition, Nottingham will once again transform into the epicentre of international masters indoor hockey. The second-time host city is ready to raise the bar even higher with more teams, more action and even more unforgettable moments.
Confirming the hosts for this event, Ishbel Dickens, Chair of the WMH Events Committee, says “WMH is thrilled to be working with IHUK once again. We anticipate even more team entries in 2026. We have expanded the length of the Event and added Over 65 women’s and men’s teams. WMH looks forward to another highly organised and exciting Indoor World Cup. We hope to see you there.”

From Over 35’s to Over 65’s, 98 men’s and women’s teams from across the globe will compete for world titles in what promises to be a thrilling celebration of elite-level indoor hockey. Expect lightning-fast action, heart-stopping goals, and fierce international rivalries—all in the spirit of sportsmanship and community.
As one of the UK’s leading sporting universities, University of Nottingham provides a top-tier venue that impressed in 2024.
